Cornerstone has collaborated with multiple architecture firms, including kpb architects and NBBJ Architects, for multiple precision renovations at this 375,000 SF, 150-bed hospital. Projects have included the expansion of the postpartum areas for mothers and infants, renovation of the administrative departments, and expansion of Oncology and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit among others.

Southcentral Foundation had a need to renovate existing dental space on the first floor and existing dental and optometry space on the second floor of the Fireweed Building located on Southcentral Foundation’s main campus in Anchorage. The new space on the first floor consists of dental treatment rooms with associated support spaces including lab, supply rooms, pan, and offices.

Cornerstone collaborated with several architects over the years for new construction and precision renovations of existing facilities on the PAMC campus, including the North Tower project for a 156,000 SF, 4-story medical building inclusive of a new emergency room, medical laboratory, pharmacy, and neonatal intensive care unit. This project was among the first in the state to follow the CM/GC project delivery method.

Cornerstone collaborated with RIM Architects for this 12,200 SF precision renovation and 46,500 SF addition to the existing hospital including a new emergency department, acute care wing, 18 single patient rooms, pharmacy, lab, materials management area, and surgery suite. Renovations included radiology, OB/GYN suite, boiler room, and site improvements to improve drop-off and traffic circulation.
